Just kidding. Anteaters don’t actually want to eat you- they want to eat delicious ants. But they are sensitive to noise, it seems:

Anteaters on Vacation

It’s nice that the zookeepers sent them away to avoid the disturbance. Though I’m sure the two people who died in the clash don’t care so much about that. But Hell, there’s 6 billion people on this Earth, and not nearly so  many anteaters. I think they deserve a little special treatment.

Child Kills Rare Lizards in Australian Zoo

Australia is close to Asia, so I can post this! Also, it just really burns me up!

In a reptile zoo in Canberra, a 7-year-old psychopath killed 13 animals in the space of 30 minutes by feeding some to the zoo’s resident crocodile and bludgeoning others to death. Security cameras caught the massacre and the child smiling as he killed the reptiles, some of which were extremely rare. Strangely enough, the security cameras captured NO parents in sight.

WTF?

Now, I know the proper response is “The kid must be mentally ill, it’s not his fault, thank God it was only animals and he wasn’t eaten by the crocodile.”

But you know what? Fuck that. I wish the little fucker HAD been eaten by the crocodile. Obviously his parents don’t bother to actually parent him, so they probably wouldn’t notice he was gone. They certainly didn’t notice that they failed to teach him empathy (I believe people are not born with a conscience, but have to be taught to empathize) and that he thinks nothing of killing animals in a painful and terrifying manner. And it’s not as if he didn’t know what he was doing; 7 is quite old enough to understand death.

Since the monster is still alive, I think the zoo should sue the hell out of his parents. Obviously they don’t care their kid is a future serial killer, but maybe they’ll care more when the zoo hits their pocketbook.

Let the flames begin.
