Cute Japanese girls plus ESL education = funny…right?

You may not have heard of The Peanuts, but if you’ve ever seen Toho’s Mothra or Godzilla vs. Mothra, you’ve probably seen them and never knew it. Pop singers (and twin sisters) Emi Itō and and Yumi Itō, collectively known as The Peanuts, portrayed the miniature native girls whose singing prowess wooed and summoned the giant moth. The Peanuts were a pop phenomenon in their own right and recorded a number of albums, all of which are decidedly excellent.
