Ex- (or not-so-ex these days, I suppose) Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has reportedly been splurging on $200 ‘geisha face mask’ treatments, supposedly consisting of nightingale droppings. Yes, Posh Spice is rubbing bird shit on her face.

“When she was in Japan recently she was admiring how women in their forties look under 25 and was told about these facials. Then she found out they were available in the USA and popped into a salon for one. The results were so good she even picked up some nightingale dropping goodies to use at home.” Over the years Posh has tried every trick to improve her skin, which is scarred by teenage acne,” the pal added.

Whodathunkit? Sharon Stone, who recently pissed off the entire nation of China by invoking karma as a possible cause of the devastating eartquake that has claimed thousands of lives, is not on the guest list for the upcoming Shanghai Film Festival.

Media reports had said the film festival would ban Stone from attending its events on a permanent basis, but an official from the organising committee said merely that “she is not among the list of guests to be invited,” the China Daily said.

The 50-year-old star of “Basic Instinct” attended last year’s festival as the image ambassador for the French cosmetic giant Christian Dior, which has since pulled advertisements featuring Stone from stores across China.
