According to Yahoo! Year in Review, there were more searches for the anime Naruto than there were for American Idol, NASCAR, Kim Kardashian, or Runescape.
I don’t know who Kim Kardashian is and all I know of Runescape is that I think my nephew plays it. But even though I am not a huge Naruto fan, I am glad it beat NASCAR and American Idol. Maybe there is hope for the world yet.
