Dressing up some people is like putting lipstick on a pig (*cough*JuliaRoberts*cough*) but one weirdo artist is taking it a step further in China- he’s putting tattoos on pigs.
Now, it doesn’t seem nice to tattoo pigs. I understand that afterwards, there is much itching and burning until the skin heals (no tattoos here, so no firsthand experience). But really, there are much worse things you can do to pigs. In the West, you could never tattoo a pig because those cretins at PETA would be all up in arms and protest outside the farm by having lesbians make out or whatever (Sweetest protest ever, incidentally, though I am not sure what they were protesting. Nobody does. That’s the problem with PETA). But in China no one cares. They’ll eat anything there and even kill chickens with venomous snakes to make Snakebite Chicken (I posted about that before but am too lazy to go find the post).
So, I guess more power to the pig tattoo artist. They are rather nice tattoos, and save the pigs; who is going to want to slaughter a pig with an awesome tat?
