Satoshi Kon Does Kiddie Fare

Satoshi Kon may be the king of weird-ass, surreal, pretty visuals (though his stories tend to be blah…except Paranoia Agent, I like that anime a lot). Now he’s turning his creepy vision to a kid’s movie.

That’s what I said. A kid’s movie.

The Dream Machine

The stills look nice, Kon-ish but also kiddie. I may check it out once it hits DVD. I saw Paprika in a theater but I’m going to drop my stack on a kiddie film that Gohan isn’t even old enough to appreciate, even if it is Kon.
