Inside a North Korean Arcade
A UK website has posted photos allegedly taken inside North Korea. But these aren’t of nuclear reactors or an ailing Kim Jong-il. They’re of something much more important:
An arcade.
I don’t know anything about the games, except they’re apparently ‘vintage’ (meaning really, really old). I’m just struck by how utterly… joyless the place looks. I wonder what the rest of the amusement park looks like…actually, I don’t want to know.
Capitalism has its bad points…but at least our kids can have fun playing video games.
I bet Dear Leader has a Wii.
