Michelle Malkin / right-wing nutjobs freaked over DHS assessment
Filipino-American hack Michelle Malkin is fanning the flames over a recent DHS report that she claims is aimed at rooting out conservative idealogues and – what? – placing them in concentration camps…or something (oh, the irony).
The report, excitingly titled Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment, was actually prompted by Richard Poplawski, the neo-Nazi who gunned down 4 Pittsburgh cops a little over a week ago because he was afraid of tighter gun-control laws. Again…irony.
But Malkin seems to think this whole thing was initiated to combat Glenn Beck and his Teabagging cohorts – who are railing against Obama’s tax plan (which, I should point out, rings in at 10-percent lower taxes than the wealthy were paying under Saint Reagan…though Fox News probably won’t tell you that.)
I spent the day chasing down DHS spokespeople, who have been tied up preparing for a very important homeland security event later today: The First Lady is coming to visit their Washington office. Priorities, you know.
Yes, I think dealing with the President’s wife is more important than dealing with an overrated shit-sponge like you, Michelle.
In Obama land, there are no coincidences. It is no coincidence that this report echoes Tea Party-bashing left-wing blogs (check this one out comparing the Tea Party movement to the Weather Underground!) and demonizes the very Americans who will be protesting in the thousands on Wednesday for the nationwide Tax Day Tea Party.
Note to Michelle – nobody, especially the Department of Homeland Security, gives a shit about you or Glenn Beck or your stupid little Tea Parties.
If I were a conservative, I’d be very leery of picking up this torch and running with it. In essence, they are begging to be counted amongst the real wingnuts who are the actual target of this report – but I suppose the victimization instinct is too deeply ingrained amongst them not to bite.
