Amazon Hides teh GaE
So, people searching Amazon for gay porn (and by ‘gay porn’ I mean novels by James Baldwin, a short story by Annie Proulx and yaoi/yuri manga) were unable to find any.
According to Amazon, all their search results are based on sale rankings. But some writers noticed that books with formerly high sales rankings were not featured; mysteriously, they’d been stripped of their high rankings.
Amazon is working on the problem.
Mistake? Conspiracy? Ghost hack? I’ll let you decide.
