A Taiwanese man blamed the manga Gunm, aka Battle Angel Alita, for making him commit murder and assault.

Wha?

Now, I’ve read Battle Angel Alita, and unless the U.S. translation was severely censored (which is not impossible), I can’t think of anything about this manga that promotes killing people. It’s sad that because of this nutjob, the poor people who released the manga in Taiwan are flipping out and wasting their time combing the story to see if there are hidden messages or anything. No, no hidden messages. He’s just fucking crazy.

Seriously, if a manga was going to make people kill I would expect it to be Gantz or MPD Psycho or something.
