Paul Bettany Kills the Vampires.
Seems Hollywood has moved on from anime to manhwa, or the Korean version of manga. Paul Bettany is in negotiations to star in a live-action version of Priest, which is about a vampire hunting priest. Huh, who’d have guessed?
I remember Priest came out in the U.S. around the same time as this other manhwa, Island, and I ended up reading Island instead of Priest. I’m not sure Hollywood would touch Island, though. The main character is a brutal serial killer, after all. And there’s no vampires, just gross demons.
At first I thought Paul Bettany was the guy from The Fast and the Furious, but it turns out that guy is actually named Paul Walker. Paul Bettany has been in lots of movies but I only saw one of them, A Knight’s Tale, which was thoroughly lame except for him.
