Fanfic Contest in Cincy!
If there are any peeps in the Cincinnati area who like anime and like to write, Joseph-Beth Booksellers in the Rookwood Pavilion is holding an anime/manga fanfiction competition. Here’s the relevant info:
Deadline: Thursday, April 30th
Rules
1. All stories must be anime- or manga-related. Japanese video games like Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts are also okay. Doujinshi (amateur comics based on existing series) are also acceptable.
2. There is no limit on word length and no restrictions on content.
3. There are two categories: Kids (15 and under) and Adult (over 15).
4. Prizes for first through third place will be given out in each category.
How to submit
Drop off your story at the Rookwood store before April 30th, or mail it to:

Your Telephone Number
Your E-Mail Address
The title of Your Story
What Fandom It Belongs To
The Category in Which You’re Submitting
All winners will be notified via e-mail by Saturday, May 9th. Prize packages will be held at the Information Desk. All manuscripts will be available for pick-up at the Information Desk after this date. Prize packages will include DVDs, manga and other promotional items.
