China Movie Blacklist Watch: The Dark Knight
Variety reports that the latest Batman film (The Dark Knight in case you’ve been living under a rock) won’t be released in China, due to ‘cultural sensitivites’. In other news, it’s been available on every street corner in Singapore since June. Grow a pair, China. Seriously.

A studio spokesam declined to elaborate. “The Dark Knight” included scenes shot in Hong Kong, which could have created difficulties in convincing censors to approve the release.
