Japanese site full of abandoned spaces
During our weekly Earthdawn game last night (yes – I play Earthdawn, get over it…), we somehow stumbled into one of those mid-game digressions about random stuff. This particular digression was about abandoned amusement parks, and one of my friends / co-adventurers suggested a Japanese website focused on just that subject.
This isn’t the exact page she was talking about, but it’s might cool nontheless. As an added bonus, the rest of the site is chock full of other locales, all documented in loving, haunting imagery.
During our discussion, I was also reminded of Americana, a second-string amusement park not far from where I grew up in Cincinnati. Here’s a site dedicated to the history of that sadly forgotten landmark.
(Mad props to Steph, baker and map-maker extraordinaire!)

I wonder if it has that place from Spirited Away in it?
You know, looking at some of the gnarly pics in there, I wouldn’t doubt it
(Oh, and welcome to the site!)
